No Spokespeople

We recognize each person can only share their individual perspective. While we encourage this sharing, no one person speaks or should be asked to speak on behalf of some aspect of their identity. When inquiring, we lean into our six Employee Resource Groups or standard research methods.

Zero Hate

We have a zero-tolerance for hateful speech or action, especially when it relates to someone's background, beliefs, disabilities, or identity. Any incidents should be reported immediately to our HR team or Chief People Officer.

Full Equity

We treat every member of our community equally regardless of their background, beliefs, disabilities, or identity when it comes to employment, compensation, or community membership. Any concerns or questions should be directed to our Chief People Officer.

Employee Resource Groups

We have six Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)—Asian, Unapologetic, Disability, LGBTQIA+, Vibras, and Women/Nonbinary—that hold regular meetings. Past ERG events have included panels, speaker series, networking mixers, happy hours, and retreats.

If you're hybrid, you'll come in three times a week. We host our biweekly All-Hands meetings on Wednesdays (often with sweet treats).

For US-based employees, you'll get 20 accruable vacation days annually. Plus 1 floating holiday, 10 wellness days, 1 community service day, and a generous company holiday calendar. PTO increases with tenure after 2 years with the company.

Parental leave varies by location.

For US-based employees, when you become a new parent, you’re eligible for 100% paid parental leave (20 paid weeks for both birth and non-birth parents). We also subsidize fertility care and preservation services.

In the US, we subsidize OneMedical, ClassPass, and CitiBike memberships. You and your dependents also have access to individual therapy, group therapy, and coaching services through Modern Health.

US-based employees receive a $3,000 annual Learning & Development stipend after three months, along with free access to Udemy, an online marketplace with over 6,000 courses, starting on your first day.

All US employees receive a $30 weekly Seamless credit. In the NYC office, we offer plenty of options for snacks and drinks. Plus, free catered lunches in the office Tuesday through Thursday. In-office lunch varies by location.

We match charitable donations dollar for dollar to a maximum of $15,000 per employee, and give every US-based employee 1 day off for community service annually.

Every US-based hybrid employee gets a $125 monthly commuter subsidy to use for public transportation, parking, bike maintenance and storage, and more.

You’ll meet with members of the team you’d be working with at Hinge to discuss your experience in the key skills needed for the role. (We’ll make sure we’re on the same page about what they are before the interview.) It’s also a good time to get answers to all your nitty-gritty questions about the day-to-day work on this team.
