Hinge Data Recipients
Section 5 of our Privacy Policy provides a detailed overview of who may receive your personal data, and why. You can also review and adjust your preferences for data sharing for marketing and advertising purposes in the consent management platform, available in "Settings" and then "Your Privacy Choices".
For a deeper dive, the below chart lists vendors (also known as ‘third parties,’ ‘service providers’ or ‘partners’) who currently process your data in connection with Hinge. Please note that this chart does not include trial vendors, law enforcement authorities or our Match Group affiliates. For more details about how Match Group companies work together, please see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
How to use this chart:
The chart details what types of personal data Hinge shares with each vendor listed and why, as well as where the vendor processes personal data. In the ‘vendor type’ column, we categorize each vendor as a “controller” or “processor,” i.e.:
- If a vendor is a “controller,” they decide how and why your data is processed, either independently or jointly with Hinge.
- If a vendor is a “processor,” they contractually agree to process personal data on Hinge’s behalf and in accordance with Hinge’s instructions.
Please note that, depending on how you use Hinge, some vendors will not be relevant for you. For example, your personal data is shared with payment processors only when you make a relevant purchase.
